In 2025

November 2025 – This group of students from Inti College came in last Monday to help out and interact with the cats & dogs. Thanks for your help!

November 2025 – This group of Inti students visited yesterday to do volunteer work. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during their visit so they spent most of their time in our cattery.
“I’m one of the volunteers that went to SPCA on November 10. We found the animals there was mostly friendly and they’re all clean and neat. Unfortunately today’s weather was raining so we did more in cat sessions，fed them, playing with them and more. The cats are very nice and clingy. Me and my team very much appreciate that you guys gave us a chance to learn. Once again we put high respect for what SPCA is , what SPCA does and what SPCA means.”

October 2025 – A CSR collaboration with Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd & SPCA Penang was held at SMK Jelutong, and for us it was also to commemorate World Animal Day which falls on 4th October each year. The aim of the collaboration was to create animal awareness amongst the students. A slide presentation on Responsible Pet Ownership was presented and a quiz time was conducted to test the attention of the students.

September 2025 – Motorola Solutions staff visited today for their CSR project. Thanks for your help!

In 2024

December 2024 – A group of TARUMT students (dubbed PAWYPALS) made a presentation at SMK(L)Methodist Boys School on SPCA Penang. A great job by them, they produced their own presentation. Thanks for your efforts!

December 2024 – A group of students from Degree in Accounting TARUMT came for social service this afternoon. Thanks for your help & donations!

March 2023 – “Project Loyals” – a group of students from INTI International College Penang (BBSUT: Bachelor of Business 3+0, painted the mural and supplied the exercise equipment

November 13, 2021 – Equator students (Tan Luo Xin, Ooi Hui Li , Lim Ke Xin and Bong Yong Yee) who chose to do a design project for SPCA Penang

November 20, 2021 – Students from 4 DOGS FUNDRAISER, Powiis collected RM267 for us by selling crocheted items online

November 20 to December 10, 2021 – TARUC Penang Branch online donation drive

November 17 & December 11, 2021 – 2nd Penang Boys Brigade visited to help out
