For many who don’t really know exactly what SPCA offers to the general public, we wish to inform that we provide:
Ambulance service – we transport animals to the vet for treatment etc
Adoption service – we try our best to rehome the many animals under our care to good caring homes
Advice on pet care to the general public
Collect/receive unwanted pets on pet owner's request - only for very good reasons should owners decide not to own their pets anymore
Neutering subsidy – to the public who are not able to afford the cost of neutering of their pets
Rescue animals in distress – diseased, injured etc
Check on complaints of cruelty – Any complaints made should be accompanied with evidence etc
Provide education program - to create awareness to the public, schools, colleges and universities on the work of SPCA as well as Responsible Pet Ownership
Recruitment of volunteers – people who are willing to provide volunteer service towards animal welfare
Service to remove carcass - from pet owners’ homes.
