Spay & Neuter Initiatives: The Rotaract Club of Tanjong Bungah & SPCA were in discussion and collaborated to initiate the Trap, Neuter and Release program for stray cats. We believe we can work together to reduce the number of stray cats in Penang if this can be done continuously and systematically. Stray cats especially are not easy to apprehend and will need much of our time and patience. It may take days. Thank you Rotaractors of the Tanjong Bungah club for taking this initiative and we wish to achieve great success in this project.
Several fundraisers were organised by students from the various institutions namely: Inti College Feeding Hearts, Saving Paws group, Snip Snip Hooray towards our Neutering fund from UOW KDU, MSU, USM and BXCL International School, MSU College. Our heartfelt thanks to all for their efforts and also to Benchmark Precision Technology for their presentation of food for the animals.
