Good greetings and a Happy World Animal Day to all!

A CSR collaboration with Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd & SPCA was held at SMK Jelutong, and for us it was also to commemorate World Animal Day which falls on 4th October each year. The aim of the collaboration was to create animal awareness among the students. A slide presentation on Responsible Pet Ownership was presented and a quiz time was conducted to test the attention of the students. We were impressed with the students’ interaction and prizes comprised of SPCA merchandise were sponsored by JKSB. We hope our presence at the school will help create an impact in educating on the need to neuter especially where there are many who own cats.

Donations in kind such as pet food, supplements for cats and dogs and electrical appliances much needed at the shelter were received. Cinder our long-term resident cat had a field day at SMK Jelutong interacting and mingling with the students. We hope this initiative will encourage more corporations to highlight awareness on animal care as keeping a pet is now part of our life in most households. Our sincere gratitude to JKSB for reaching out to us to collaborate in this mission.
