To all our Muslim Members and Friends, SPCA Penang Team wishes you a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
This is also a joyous month since we need not strictly follow SOPs like we used to. However, with the relaxation we will still need our visitors/volunteers to take precautions and follow procedures by masking up and observe social distancing if possible while at the shelter.

| Animal Adoptions | |

Our adoptions for April favored more on cats. We had seven cats and three dogs adopted. We just wished that potential adopters wouldn’t choose breeds, but rather help save the many lives at shelters. There are many adult dogs which are fully grown and have stayed at the shelter for a very long time and are still awaiting good homes. They can be great companions too!

We are beginning to receive requests from the various institutions to be allowed to perform community service. We wish to remind you all that we would welcome all but not more than 10 people if possible at any one time.

Our next volunteer briefing will be held on Saturday 21st May. Time: 9.30 a.m. We would like to remind those who have signed up to be punctual.

| We're Hiring | |

We're looking for a full-time Kennel Attendant. Applicant must be comfortable with dogs & cats. Scope includes feeding the animals, cleaning, medicating/etc. Salary range RM1,200-1,500, includes EPF & SOCSO/EIS. Interested? Just drop by the shelter from 9am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday, or call us 042816559 during office hours for more information.
