SPCA Penang
Welcome to our January 2024 Newsletter!

Dear Members & Friends,

Good greetings to all!

Good greetings and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 to all!

Let’s hope Year 2024 brings us good blessings to have more pet owners committed towards their pet. In our daily routine, we receive lots of complaints/enquiries for surrendering, picking up strays which the public deem as a nuisance in their community. For many, Life is Better with Animals around them and for some, perhaps they need to practice a bit of tolerance to live in harmony with animals.

We would like to invite our adopters to share happy stories of their pets adopted from the SPCA.Please send via messaging in social media or by email to photos@spca-penang.net.

Adoptions

We ended the year 2023 with only 93 adoptions. There are many animals which have been at the shelter for more than two years and are still waiting to be homed. The older the dogs get, the harder for them to be re homed. There are many good reasons why one should give them a second chance. Adult animals will give you less teething problems for one. You save a life and furthermore they are fully vaccinated and could be neutered already.
